Hailey is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Supervisor, and Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist with over a decade of experience helping people manage mental health and addiction issues. In addition to working with clients, she provides training and mentoring for newly licensed counselors and is a board-approved supervisor with the NCBLPC and NCSAPPB. Hailey has a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from NC State University and has continued to work in North Carolina to further her efforts of improving the quality of services being provided in her community.
In the past, she has served as a Clinical Director and has helped to develop and oversee community mental health programs that serve at-risk youth, families, and individuals. She is passionate about ensuring that all people have access to quality mental health and substance abuse treatment and has created partnerships that allowed clinicians to provide treatment in schools, primary care offices, and in-home settings. As a part of this effort, she has provided training within schools to teachers and administrative staff to help them identify warning signs of mental illness and addiction and oversaw the implementation of a school-based mental health program in nine public schools in her home state of North Carolina.
Through her company, Therapeutics, she provides tools and resources to help counselors incorporate Evidence-Based Practices into their work. She is the creator of the Plan-it Therapy card line, an innovative tool that allows counselors plan effective peer-reviewed treatments for their clients. Hailey also serves in a consultative role for agencies and businesses looking to provide education and mental health treatment. She has collaborated on several projects to create online courses and treatment programs for people struggling with a variety of issues, including alcohol addiction, binge eating, anger management issues, impulse control issues, and relationship conflicts. She also is a contributing author on several reputable websites, writing and editing medically reviewed articles on addiction and mental illness.
